At JEC NVG, we are committed to ensuring safe and secure delivery and return of all rental equipment. This Shipping & Returns Policy outlines how we dispatch items to customers, how they are to be returned, and the responsibilities of both parties. This policy is in compliance with applicable UK consumer laws.


2. Shipping Policy

2.1 Delivery Method

All items are shipped using a tracked and insured delivery service to ensure peace of mind for both JEC NVG and our customers.

2.2 Shipping Address

Items will only be shipped to the address that matches the:

  • Photographic ID

  • Proof of address (e.g. utility bill or bank statement, dated within the last 3 months)

This verification is a requirement to comply with our rental security policies.

2.3 Dispatch Times

Once your booking is confirmed and ID/address verified, your rental item will be:

  • Dispatched: Typically 1–2 working days before the rental start date

  • Delivery Time: Usually next working day (depending on location and courier service)

2.4 Shipping Fees

Shipping charges are included in your rental fee and cover both outbound and return shipping using our approved courier and prepaid return label.


3. Return Policy

3.1 Return Deadline

All rental items must be returned within 24 hours of the end of the rental period.

3.2 Return Method

A prepaid tracked return label will be provided in the original packaging. You must:

  • Repack the item securely using the original packaging

  • Affix the prepaid return label clearly to the outside

  • Drop the parcel at the designated courier drop-off location within 24 hours

Failure to return within this window may result in additional charges.

3.3 Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring the item is returned in the same condition as received

  • Keeping proof of return and tracking information

  • Returning the item using the provided label and method only

If the return is lost or damaged due to using an unauthorised return method, you may be liable for repair or replacement costs.


4. Late or Non-Returns

If an item is not returned within 24 hours of the rental end time:

  • Late Fees: A daily late fee may be charged

  • Loss Reporting: Non-returns beyond 4 days may be treated as theft and reported

  • Deposit Forfeit: Any applicable deposit may be withheld

  • Further Charges: Additional costs may be billed for loss, damage, or recovery


5. Damaged or Lost Parcels

Outbound Shipment

Our shipments are insured. If your item arrives damaged or does not arrive, please contact us within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery date. We will work with the courier to resolve the issue and may offer a replacement if time permits.

Return Shipment

If you fail to use the provided return label and an item is lost or damaged, you may be liable for the full replacement cost.
