Step by Step guide

✅ Step-by-Step Guide to Using Analog/ Digital Night Vision Devices

🔧 1. Preparation Before Use

  • Charge or Install Batteries: Ensure the unit has fresh or fully charged batteries.

  • Inspect the Device: Check for any damage or dirty optics.

  • Attach the Protective Lens Cover: Always keep the lens cover on until you're in a safe low-light area.

  • DO NOT Power On in Bright Areas: Never turn the device on in daylight or brightly lit environments — this can permanently damage the tube.

  • Fit Your Mount or Helmet: Adjust for a snug, comfortable fit before use.

  • Attach the Lanyard: Make sure the provided safety lanyard is clipped to prevent accidental drops.

👁️ 2. Power On the Device

  • Enter a Low-Light Area First: Only power on when you're safely away from bright lights.

  • Activate the Device: Turn the power on gently, being mindful of surroundings.

  • Use IR Illuminator if Needed: For extremely dark conditions, engage the built-in infrared light.

🔍 3. Focus and Adjust

  • Adjust the Diopter (Eyepiece): Focus the eyepiece to suit your vision.

  • Tune the Objective Lens: Adjust the front lens for different distances.

  • Check Image Quality: Fine-tune for clarity and contrast.

🧭 4. Movement & Use

  • Move Slowly and Deliberately: Peripheral vision is limited; take your time.

  • Scan with Your Head: Don’t just use your eyes — move your head to get full situational awareness.

🔌 5. After Use

  • Power Off Before Entering Bright Light: Always switch off before entering well-lit areas.

  • Clean the Lenses Gently: Use lens-safe materials only.

  • Store Properly: Keep in a dry, padded case and avoid heat or moisture.
